We have reserved a blocks of rooms for conference particpants in
two local hotels. Both are five to six blocks from the Carnegie
Mellon Campus. The number of rooms are limited, so making
reservations early will guarantee you your first choice.
We are requesting that workshop participants phone in and reserve
an individual room out of our block of rooms at either of the
hotels listed below.
The University Club
We have arranged about 16 rooms at a rate of $70.00 per night which
includes a continintal breakfast. All rooms have either a queen/king
size bed or twin beds. The rooms have been reserved from Thursday March 12
until Sunday March 15. The rooms need to be reserved by March 5'th to get
the conference rate.
The Holiday Inn
The Holiday inn has an hourly shuttle to and from the airport for
$12.00. The hotel is also slightly closer to the CMU campus than the
University club. We have reserved approximately 25 rooms for workshop
participants at a rate of $103.00. The rate is the same for 1, 2 or 3
people in the same room. Cutoff date for reservations is Feb. 19.
