Workshop Location

The Thursday Afternoon sessions will be held in the University of Pittsburgh in Allen Hall.

The Friday and Saturday workshop sessions will be held on the Carnegie Mellon University campus.

On Friday March 13, the meetings will be held in the University Center at Carnegie Mellon University.

On Saturday March 14, the meetings will be held in Wean Hall in the Carnegie Mellon Physics Department.

Driving to Carnegie Mellon from the hotels:
Exit the hotels and return to 5'th Avenue. You will be forced to go right onto 5'th. You will want to make a left turn off 5'th and proceed to Forbes Ave. Make a left onto Forbes, then get in one of the two right-most lanes. Proceed over the Bridge, throught two stop lights and then make a right turn into a drivaway that connects to the CMU parking Garage. I have reserved seven spots in thes garage. Ask at the parking desk for a permit on Friday -- tell them you are with the "CEBAF -- physics workshop". On Saturday, parking is Free. The other large building off this driveway is the University center where Friday's meetings are.

To get to Carnegie Mellon Univerity from the Hotels, exit the hotels, and look for the very tall gothic building. Proceed towards this building. From both hotels, you will need to cross 5'th Ave. to do this. You want to find Forbes Avenue, which is parallel to 5'th Avenue. Cross 5'th towards the tall building, and continue walking past the building until you come to Forbes. Cross over Forbes, and turn left. Walk up Forbes past the Carnegie Museum, across a Bridge over a railroad track and up a small hill. You are now in the Carnegie Mellon Campus. Near the top of the small hill there will be a large lawn with construction set up on it. Across this is a yellow brick 3-story building. This is the University Center. Go into this building, and look for signs to the eight+ workshop on the 1'st floor.
