- Follow 279/376 North toward Pittsburgh. Just follow the signs to
- Pittsburgh. You will come to a tunnel which exits onto a bridge.
- Approaching the tunnel, stay in the left two lanes.
- You want to be in the far right lane when you get on the bridge.

- You are now forced to Exit onto 376 East to Monroville. Stay in the
- right most lane on 376, and exit at exit 5, Forbes Ave/ Oakland.

- On Forbes stay in one of the left two lanes and continue about
- 1 mile through the Oakland business district.

- At S. Bellefield Ave. you will be forced to turn left because
- the street becomes a two-way street. Make this left turn.

- Proceed to 5'th avenue, and turn right onto 5'th. Then get into
- the far right lane.

- For the holiday Inn, turn right onto Lytton after about 3 blocks on 5'th.
- For the University CCLub, turn right onto University Place
- after about 6 blocks.
- Public Transportation to the Hotels.
- Taxis from the Pittsburgh Airport cost about $35.00 plus
- tip each way.
- The Airport Express
runs a $10.00 shuttle from the airport directly to the Holiday
- Inn. The Holiday Inn is only about 2 blocks from the University Club,
- so this is suitable for both hotels.
- Port Authority of Allegheny County
runs a regular bus from the
- airport to Carnegie Mellon. The bus is known as the Airport Flyer
- or the 28X and costs $1.95. The very last stop is at Carnegie Mellon
- University, while the next-to-last stop is at the University of Pittsburgh,
- quite near the hotels.
