On Tuesday November 16, 2004, we held a GlueX conference call,

during which we decided to set up this web page to help manage the
information that we would need to make a final decision on the
Cherenkov detector for GlueX.
During the above call, Ryan Mitchel showed a
presentation of Monte Carlo Results that he had produced for several different
Cherenkov options.
On Tuesday November 23, 2004, we held our second GlueX conference call,

On Tuesday, December 21, 2004, Dan Carman discused the GlueX note that
he had written on doing dE/dx in the forward drift chambers. This is
note number 417 on the
GlueX Portal.
On Thursday January 6, 2005, Stefan Spanier presented cost and performance
estimates for a DIRC in
GlueX.
